  • Technical details: 96 Apartments, B.U.A. 25,000 m2, Total MEP value 27M AED, Air cooled chilled water system 690 TR.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilized HAP software, ASHRAE standards, “UAE fire and life safety code of practice,” NFPA standards, “international plumbing codes” and DEWA/DM calculation sheets and regulations to produce design drawings for various projects.
  • Coordinated and attended weekly meetings with the main contractor and consultant to discuss technical issues and to get approvals on the drawings from local authorities.
  • Prepared BOQ, material submittals, shop drawings, and ensured their compliance with the project’s specification and requirements, and obtained approval from the consultant.
  • Reviewed and corrected all design calculations (fans external static pressure, pumps head…etc.)
  • Ordered all required materials, managed the delivery time and received them at the site.
  • Coordinated with the subcontractors and supervised the installation activities.
  • Planned and followed up the work schedule to meet the target time of the project.
  • Monitored the construction progress and ensured that the work done was in accordance with the quality standards of the company.
  • Conducted onsite inspections with consultant and main contractors and got approval on all required tests.
  • Performed MEP commissioning visits on the site with the suppliers and commissioning agencies, identified any issues on the construction and resolved them.
  • Planned and arranged inspections with local authorities and obtained completion certificates on the installation and proper function of the systems.
